These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the web application Pactelo (the "Service").

2. Description of the Service

Pactelo is a web-based software application that allows users to:

• extract structured information from contracts using AI
• ask questions about contract contents
• receive reminders about relevant contract deadlines
• identify potential alternative offers or savings opportunities

The Service is intended to support understanding of contracts for informational purposes only.

Pactelo does not provide legal advice.

3. No legal advice

Pactelo uses automated AI systems to generate summaries and answers.

These outputs:

• may contain inaccuracies
• may be incomplete
• may not reflect the latest legal developments
• do not constitute legal advice

Pactelo does not replace consultation with a qualified lawyer.

You remain solely responsible for decisions made based on Service outputs.

4. Eligibility and account use

To use Pactelo, you must:

• be at least 18 years old, or
• have legal capacity under applicable law

You are responsible for:

• keeping login credentials secure
• ensuring information you provide is accurate
• preventing unauthorized access to your account

You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.

5. Document uploads and responsibility

You may upload contracts only if:

• you are a party to the contract, or
• you are authorized to process the document, or
• you otherwise have a lawful basis to upload it

You must not upload unlawful content.

You remain responsible for all uploaded content.

6. Availability of the Service

We aim to keep Pactelo available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Temporary interruptions may occur due to:

• maintenance
• infrastructure dependencies
• technical issues
• updates or improvements

7. AI-generated outputs

Pactelo uses automated AI systems to analyze documents and generate responses.

Outputs may:

• contain inaccuracies
• be incomplete
• require verification

You use generated outputs at your own risk.

8. Intellectual property

All rights to the Pactelo platform remain with the operator.

You retain ownership of documents you upload.

You grant us permission to process uploaded content solely to provide the Service.

9. Data protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws including the GDPR.

Where the product offers storage of original contract files, you control retention (including removal of stored originals); password confirmation may be required for certain destructive actions as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• misuse the Service
• upload malicious files
• interfere with platform security
• use the Service unlawfully

Access may be restricted if these Terms are violated.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

12. Liability

The Service is provided "as is".

To the extent permitted by law, liability for indirect damages is excluded.

Liability for intent, gross negligence, or mandatory statutory provisions remains unaffected.
